Pennsylvania Independent News Association

Digital news publishers from across the Commonwealth have launched PiNA — a new coalition to advocate for the independent press, modernize public notice laws, and build sustainable models for community news.

Based in Harrisburg, PiNA represents two dozen local news brands read by millions of Pennsylvanians each month — from rural communities to the suburbs and the neighborhoods of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
